Biography
Dr. Etalem Tesfaye is a Senior Researcher at Bishoftu Agricultural Research Center, EIAR, specializing in Animal Nutrition with a focus on Poultry Nutrition. She holds a PhD, MSc, and BSc from Haramaya University and has received international diplomas from the Netherlands and Thailand. Her research explores alternative feed ingredients for poultry, and she has led several national and international projects, including BioInnovate Africa and NESTLER. She has authored multiple publications, served as a board member at AASTU, contributed to national poultry strategies, and provided training in livestock nutrition and feed formulation.
